Fashion Studio is primarily intended for the creative activity of students, combining activities such as:
Theoretical and practical knowledge from the field of artistic theory, development and methods of design and fashion theory, that serve as starting point for the development of competencies in design and realization of products,
Development of concepts on current topics, that are set independently or in cooperation with external partners,
Development and realization of creative solutions in the field of textile surfaces development,
Development of creative and innovative solutions in the field of fashion design and accessories,
Learning about Slovenian textile heritage foundations and its implementation into modern design, based on the Slovenian identity,
Sustainable development of products compliant with the current methods of world’s design (Redesign, Zero waist, DIY, etc.)
Implementation of design into real fashion industry projects,
Deals with current trends in the fashion industry and monitoring of innovations in design,
Professional support of lectures from abroad,
Organizing professional excursions in fashion studios, in fashion industry, in art history institutions and on fashion shows,
Following worlds fashion trends, the definition of causes and effects, and an analytical approach to real problems.
